Heart of Darkness - Joseph Conrad

Work:
Begin reading The Heart of Darkness.
Do not just read, but listen to the words.  Also while reading write down words or phrases that stick out. Speed is not our friend with this book.  I expect to see notes from each section.  While reading pay attention to who is speaking.  There are times when Marlow moves ahead and then backtracks. In addition, the narrator jumps in to make descriptions about Marlow.  It is important to understand the importance of these transitions.

Tomorrow:
Please bring your copy of Heart of Darkness.
Also bring the largest binder you can find.
